Thought I would do a Blog today on a question we often get inquiries about "How to put a Canopy on a Four Poster Bed".   Actually you do not need a Four Poster Bed to have a Canopy Mosquito Net.  You can attach one of our canopies to bamboo poles or curtain rods suspended from your bedroom ceiling.  Of course make sure you get advice on the correct hooks to add to your ceiling for this purpose.  See the photo below to understand how you can create a beautiful space and transform your bedroom with a Canopy Mosquito Net without having a Four Poster Bed.  Photo credit Pinterest (Casa e Jardim) 

Some people make the mistake of trying to put the canopy over the top of the bed frame and find it will not fit unless it has been made specifically for your bed.  Our canopies are made by mattress size so King, Queen etc.  so is tied to the inside of each post.  If you do have a Four Poster Bed the top rail that holds the canopy can vary in size, you need to make sure your purchase a canopy with the appropriate ties or tabs will fit your rods.  We have a Deluxe Canopy that has velcros tabs approximately 10cm in length so suitable for a smaller pole.  If you have a chunky style bed that has a larger section to tie your canopy to, you would need a Mimpi Canopy as this has long ties so would fit your bed without a problem.   

You simply drop your canopy in the middle of the bed.  Find the four corners of the ceiling of the canopy and tie to the inside of each corner post of your bed.   Then tie any extra tabs to your bed railing on all four sides of your bed. 

Once you have all the ties secured simply pull the canopy together on each pole with some tie backs.  Canopies are designed to keep mosquitos out as well as for cosmetic so if mosquitos are a problem simply drop your net whenever you want to sleep peacefully to keep mosquitoes out.
